Power: Power is tapped to the Zone via Huadong Power Grid with 3 lines connecting directly to several power plants, providing sufficient, stable and reliable electricity. Hua Neng Power Plant at Taicang also generates power to the Zone.
Water: the Zone has its own Water Treatment Works. This water works sources its raw water from Lake Tai. The quality of treated water is better than that required by Chinese National Standard and reaches International Potable Water Standard (WHO 93 Standard). The plant supplies 600,000 ton per day.
Gas: Many kinds of gases are supplied via special pipes. Several gas companies, such as BOC, MSSER, LINDG and AIRLIQVIDE, offer a variety of industrial gases to companies in the Zone.
Sewage and wasted gas treatment: Drainage system adopts division of rain and sewage. The current treatment capacity is 100,000 ton/day and will be increased to 500,000 ton/day as the phase II of the plant finished. Additionally, there are 2 professional companies specializing in solid waste disposal, with 100% solid wastes treated and buried.
Telecommunications service: Public date network telecom, digital date network and other services is provided in SIP, including IDD, worldwide roaming mobile, wireless paging, television meeting available to major cities, facsimile, ISDN, LAN and ADSL. |
